Valipour Building Inspections inspects houses, condos, townhouses and small buildings across Metro Vancouver. We work as a small business, which means the person who answers the phone is the person who comes to the property and writes the report.
How we work
We arrive on time and start outside. We work through the property in the same order every time, so that nothing is skipped when a house is large or the day is short. We take photographs of what we find, and we write the report ourselves, after the inspection, not from a template full of stock paragraphs.
You are welcome to attend. If you do, we show you the main findings in place, and answer questions on the spot. If you cannot, we phone you after the inspection.
The rules we keep
- We inspect and we do not repair. We do not sell repairs, and we do not recommend ourselves to fix what we find.
- We say what we could not see. Blocked access, locked rooms, snow, stored belongings and unsafe spaces are written in the report.
- We do not guess at what is behind walls. We note what the surface suggests and recommend a specialist when it matters.
- We say when something is outside our scope. Mould, asbestos, lead, radon, structural engineering, and legal questions go to the people qualified for them.
- We tell you when a date cannot work. If your subject period is too short for a proper inspection, we say so instead of rushing it.
What the work is
An inspection is a visual, non-invasive review of the accessible parts of a property on the day. It reports on condition, ranks findings by urgency, and notes limits. It is not a guarantee, an insurance policy or a prediction. The guide on what an inspection covers goes into detail.
Where we work
Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Surrey, Coquitlam and New Westminster, and nearby by arrangement. We travel to the property. We do not have a public office, so there is no street address to visit. See the service areas.
